The Nigerian Army College of Nursing (NACON), located in Yaba, Lagos, has officially opened its admission portal for the 2025/2026 academic session. The program is run in affiliation with the University of Lagos (UNILAG) and offers a five-year Bachelor of Nursing Science (BNSc) degree.
In a public statement released via the Nigerian Army’s official X handle (@HQNigerianArmy) on Saturday, July 5, 2025, the Acting Registrar, Lt Col A. Popoola, announced that applications are open to military personnel, paramilitary personnel, and civilians who meet the eligibility criteria.

Prospective candidates can access and submit the application form online at the official college website: www.nacon.edu.ng.
The registration period runs from July 7 to August 30, 2025.

- O-Level results (WASSCE, GCE, NECO)
- Secondary school testimonial
- Birth certificate
- Certificate of origin
- 2025 UTME result
- Recent passport photograph
Eligibility Criteria
To qualify for admission into the 2025/26 Nursing Programme, applicants must:
- Be Nigerian by birth.
- Be between 18 and 25 years old by October 2025.
- Have scored a minimum of 200 in the 2025 UTME.
- Possess at least 5 O-level credits at one sitting in English Language, Mathematics, Physics, Chemistry, and Biology.
Screening Examination
The screening exam for eligible candidates will take place on:
- Dates: September 2–3, 2025
- Venue: NACON Complex, Yaba, Lagos
