The Mastercard Foundation Scholars Program at CMU-Africa 2026–2027 offers exceptional opportunities for talented young Africans facing significant social and economic barriers. This program supports graduate students pursuing Master of Science degrees in Information Technology (MSIT), Electrical and Computer Engineering (MS ECE), or Engineering Artificial Intelligence (MS EAI).

Applicants must first be admitted to one of CMU-Africa’s graduate degree programs. Certain programs may require letters of recommendation or video essays.
English Proficiency Requirements: Non-native English speakers must submit IELTS, TOEFL, or Duolingo English Test (DET) scores, unless exempt due to prior study in recognized English-speaking countries or institutions.
