1. Six-Month Accelerator:
Awardees join a six-month tailored accelerator program to strengthen their business fundamentals, refine financial planning, and measure social impact. Participants gain guidance on preparing for investor meetings, strategic growth, and scaling operations in diverse markets.
2. Sponsored Trip to Amsterdam:
Selected founders will travel to Amsterdam from 26 to 30 October 2026 for Awardee Days and the Award Ceremony. This exclusive event allows participants to pitch their ventures, celebrate achievements, and network with fellow entrepreneurs and industry leaders.
3. €25,000 Cash Prize:
Each awardee receives €25,000 in non-dilutive funding to expand their reach, invest in growth, and implement strategic business initiatives without giving up equity.
4. Global Visibility and Recognition:
Awardees benefit from storytelling support, media exposure, and video content, elevating their venture on a global stage. This visibility strengthens credibility and expands opportunities to connect with investors, partners, and clients.

Who Should Apply?
The Bayer Foundation Women Entrepreneurs Award targets women founders with revenue-generating businesses that address health and food security challenges in low- and middle-income communities across Asia, Latin America, Africa, and the Middle East.
Eligibility Criteria:
- Women founders, co-founders, or senior leaders with decision-making power
- Businesses with proven traction and up to USD 1,000,000 in annual revenue
- Ventures operating as social enterprises, hybrid models, or non-profits preparing to launch a for-profit entity within 12–24 months
- Incorporated on or before 1 January 2025
- Ventures focusing on health (cardiovascular health, women’s health, oncology, healthcare access) or food security (reducing food waste, fighting malnutrition, fair markets, smallholder productivity, water and sanitation)
- Registered charities, sole traders, or businesses outside these sectors are not eligible

- Cardiovascular Health – Prevent, detect, and treat climate-related cardiovascular risks
- Women’s Health – Address reproductive, menopause, and other women-specific health conditions
- Oncology – Cancer prevention, diagnosis, and treatment
- Healthcare Financing – Improve affordability and access through insurance or flexible payment models
- Digital Health Infrastructure – Support community health workers and last-mile healthcare
Food Security:
- Reduce Food Waste – Improve efficiency across production, storage, and distribution
- Combat Malnutrition – Enhance access to nutritious and affordable food
- Fair Markets & Pricing – Increase transparency and equitable trade
- Boost Smallholder Productivity – Enhance yields, resilience, and income
- Water Justice & Sanitation – Expand access to clean water, nutrition, and public health support
