About the Fellowship

  2. Creative Lab – A hybrid team of designers, coders, filmmakers, and strategists experimenting with emerging technologies to make Google’s innovations more engaging and human-centered.
  3. Google Cloud Brand & Creative – A team of thinkers and creators simplifying complex cloud solutions into intuitive, visually compelling experiences.
  4. YouTube Creative Studio – Dedicated to producing content that captivates audiences across YouTube Shorts, subscriptions, and creator-focused campaigns.

Brand Studio (New York, NY)

  • Motion Designer: Support Google Doodles and animation projects using 2D, 3D, and AI-enhanced motion techniques.

Creative Lab (New York, NY)

  • Creative Technical Motion Artist / Visual & Motion Designer: Bridge design and technology, experimenting with AI, Python, and coding to push creative boundaries.

Google Cloud Brand & Creative (San Francisco, CA)

  • Creative Technologist / Social Creative / Visual & Motion Designer: Prototype new ideas, work with cloud technologies, and integrate AI to enhance creative outputs.

YouTube Creative Studio (New York, NY)

  • Video Storyteller (AI Focus) / Writer & AI Prompt Artist: Develop visual narratives and AI-driven content that resonates with global audiences.

Eligibility Requirements

To participate in the 2026 Creative Fellowship, candidates must:

  • Have work authorization in the U.S. as of June 2026 (no visa sponsorship required)
  • Be of legal working age in the U.S.
  • Reside in the city of their chosen role (New York, NY or San Francisco, CA)
  • Be fluent in English (reading, writing, speaking)
  • Commit to a full-time, six-month program (mid-June 2026 – mid-December 2026)
  • Understand that employment is via Google’s staffing partners as a freelancer
  • Notify Google of any disability or accommodation needs
