Scholarship Value

- A minimum average grade of 7/10 by the third quartile of the first year.
- Completion of at least 50% of European Credits (ECs) by the same period.

Eligibility Criteria
To qualify for the UTS 2026, applicants must meet the following requirements:
- Must be from a non-EU/EEA country.
- Must have received (provisional) admission to a qualifying Master’s program at the University of Twente for the 2026/2027 academic year (September intake).
- Must possess a student number issued by the University of Twente.
- Must not be a graduate or current student of the University of Twente.
- Must meet visa eligibility requirements for the Netherlands.
- Must meet the English language requirements:
- IELTS: minimum 6.5 overall, with at least 6.0 in speaking, or
- TOEFL iBT: minimum 90 overall, with at least 20 in speaking.
- Must belong to the top 5–10% of their graduating class at their home university.
Note: Students enrolled in pre-Master’s programs, Master’s programs at the Faculty of Geo-Information Science and Earth Observation (ITC), or those paying statutory tuition fees are not eligible.
