The United Nations Development Programme (UNDP) Nigeria has announced a national call for innovative digital solutions aimed at ending digital violence against women and girls across the country. This initiative supports the 2025 16 Days of Activism Against Gender-Based Violence (GBV) campaign, themed “UNiTE to End Digital Violence Against All Women and Girls.”
This call seeks to identify and amplify tested, live, and impactful tech or tech-enabled solutions that can prevent, detect, respond to, or monitor digital violence targeting women and girls in Nigeria.
About the Call
UNDP Nigeria aims to spotlight and support young innovators who are actively building safer digital spaces for women and girls. The program will validate and amplify Nigeria-based solutions that address digital risks such as:
- Content risks
- Contact risks
- Conduct risks
- Contract risks
These risks contribute to online harassment, cyberstalking, identity abuse, harmful communication, and other forms of digital violence affecting women and girls.
