The SparkUp Initiative Fellowship 2026 is a global capacity-building program created to empower women-led organizations with the skills, tools, and confidence needed to succeed in fundraising. Designed for women leaders across diverse sectors, the fellowship helps organizations strengthen their strategies, attract global funding, and expand their long-term impact.
This initiative welcomes women-led groups working in education, health, gender equity, environmental justice, economic empowerment, policy advocacy, indigenous rights, and many other fields. Whether your organization is newly established or already well-developed, SparkUp provides the support needed to accelerate your growth.
Program Overview
The SparkUp Initiative offers a practical and interactive training experience that helps women leaders:

Eligibility Criteria
Organizations applying for the SparkUp Fellowship must be:
- Women-led NGOs or grassroots organizations in developing countries across Asia, Africa, or smaller European nations
- From any sector or thematic area
- Newly formed or well-established organizations, both are welcome
Fellowship Structure
- Duration: 2 months
- Format:
- Live online group workshops
- One-on-one mentorship sessions
- Peer learning and collaboration with other fellows
The program is fully online, making it accessible to women leaders across different regions.
Application Requirements
Applicants must submit the following documents by 20 December 2025:
- Completed application form
- A one-page concept note describing a project or fundraising idea
- A current CV
- A signed letter confirming that the applicant holds a leadership role in the organization
