Save the Children has launched a new funding opportunity for local organisations in Nigeria and Ethiopia through its Immunisation Accelerator Program. The initiative aims to support innovative projects that help overcome barriers to vaccine access and usage in underserved communities.
The organisation is particularly interested in projects that are currently in their testing or evidence-gathering stages and have already shown potential in addressing immunisation challenges. Selected initiatives will receive grants ranging from $50,000 to $100,000, with most awards expected to fall between $50,000 and $85,000.
Projects will be funded for a period of up to 18 months, with the possibility of an extension. The support will help successful applicants generate impact evidence through a mix of field research, practical implementation, and real-world testing.
