The International Children’s Peace Prize 2026 is now open for nominations, offering a global platform to recognize young leaders who are making powerful contributions to children’s rights. The prize, created by KidsRights in 2005 during the World Summit of Nobel Peace Laureates, is one of the most respected youth awards in the world. Who Can Be Nominated for the 2026 Prize?
A nominee must meet the following criteria:
- Be between 12 and 18 years old.
- Have a proven history of defending or promoting children’s rights.
- Show real and measurable impact, locally, nationally, or globally.
- Give clear consent to be nominated.
- Individuals and groups of up to five children are eligible.
- Organizations cannot be nominated.

Why Nominate a Young Changemaker?
The winner of the International Children’s Peace Prize 2026 will receive:
- The Nkosi statuette, presented during a worldwide ceremony.

To nominate a young changemaker:

- Make sure the child has given consent for the nomination.
The form is only available in English, but applicants may request access in other languages based on needs.
