International Children’s Peace Prize 2026: Nominations Now Open

The International Children’s Peace Prize 2026 is now open for nominations, offering a global platform to recognize young leaders who are making powerful contributions to children’s rights. The prize, created by KidsRights in 2005 during the World Summit of Nobel Peace Laureates, is one of the most respected youth awards in the world. Every year, the award is presented by a Nobel Peace Laureate, which makes it even more prestigious.

Over the years, the prize has honored outstanding young changemakers such as Malala Yousafzai, Greta Thunberg, and most recently Bana Alabed, the 2025 winner who bravely gave a voice to children affected by war in Syria. Her work reminded the world of the urgent need to protect children living in conflict zones, inspiring global calls for ceasefires, humanitarian support, and child protection.
