The Black Women Marketers Achievement Awards 2025 honor the creativity, leadership, and impact of Black women shaping the future of marketing. Each year, the awards spotlight professionals whose work transforms brands, builds communities, and redefines innovation in the marketing, advertising, communications, and design industries.
Hosted by Black Women Marketers (BWM), this initiative aims to recognize and celebrate the outstanding achievements of Black women who continue to set new standards of excellence in a field where their influence is often underappreciated.
According to the Association of National Advertisers, Black women represent a small fraction of the marketing workforce, just over 6%. The Achievement Awards provide a platform to amplify their voices, creativity, and leadership.
“We’re not just the trends; we’re the innovators behind them,” says Jasmine Coleman-Miller, Co-Founder of Black Women Marketers.
“These awards celebrate the women driving conversations, shaping brands, and setting standards for creativity and strategy in our industry.”

Award Categories
The 2025 Black Women Marketers Achievement Awards will recognize excellence in seven major categories:
- Breakthrough Marketer – Honors emerging professionals with under three years in the industry, making exceptional strides.
- Hidden Gem – Recognizes behind-the-scenes marketers whose creative brilliance often goes unnoticed.
- Little Miss Viral – Celebrates marketers who consistently go viral by sharing original ideas, insights, and trends.
- Entrepreneur of the Year – For agency owners creating meaningful client impact and building thriving teams.
- Corporate Star – Highlights high-achieving marketers excelling in corporate roles with proven industry success.
- CMO of the Year – Honors Chief Marketing Officers leading with innovation and bold, strategic vision.
- Lifetime Achievement – Acknowledges industry icons who have influenced and mentored others for over seven years.
Eligibility Criteria
- Nominees must identify as Black women working in marketing, communications, design, content creation, or influencer marketing.
- Self-nominations are allowed.
- You may nominate multiple individuals, but not the same person more than once in a single category.
- Past winners are not eligible, but past nominees can reapply.
Deadline: All nominations must be submitted by Friday, November 7, 2025, at 11:59 PM EST.

The Achievement Awards are more than recognition; they are a movement. They amplify visibility for Black women who have long contributed significantly to the industry’s evolution through creativity, strategy, and innovation.

How to Nominate
Anyone can submit a nomination, including self-nominations. To nominate a deserving Black woman in marketing, complete the 2025 nomination form before the deadline.
Finalists will be reviewed by the Selection Committee, and winners will be announced during the Black Women Marketers Achievement Awards Ceremony in 2025.
