The African Union’s International Centre for Girls and Women’s Education in Africa (CIEFFA), in collaboration with ImpactHER, is launching the 2025 edition of its Online Capacity Building Training under the inspiring theme:
#AfricaEducatesHer – Digital Skills for All: Bridging the Gender Gap in STEAM, Financial Literacy, and Entrepreneurship.
This free training opportunity targets young African women and men, including those in the diaspora, passionate about building 21st-century skills and advancing gender equality in education, digital innovation, and entrepreneurship.
What’s in it for you?
Selected participants will:
- Gain hands-on knowledge in gender equality, STEAM, digital literacy, financial literacy, and entrepreneurship
- Receive certificates upon completing each program (must attend at least 80% of sessions)
- Join the African Union CIEFFA and ImpactHER networks, connecting with changemakers across Africa
- Become eligible for fully-funded in-person activities and additional online training programs

Who Can Apply?
To be eligible, you must:
- Be a citizen of an African Union Member State, residing in Africa or abroad
- Show motivation to learn and a strong interest in digital and entrepreneurial skills
- Have leadership potential and commitment to promoting girls’ and women’s education
- Possess a stable internet connection and access to a device (laptop, smartphone, or tablet)
- Understand at least one of the program’s working languages: English, French, or Portuguese.

Training begins: September 2025 (1-month batches).
