The World Bank Treasury Summer Internship is a prestigious 10-week training program created to prepare exceptional college students for successful careers in global finance. Internship Duration and Structure

During the program, interns receive laptops, full onboarding training, and mentorship. The World Bank also sponsors visas for international interns, ensuring a smooth experience for participants coming from more than 60 countries.

Eligibility Requirements

To qualify, applicants must:

  • Be in the second-to-last year of a four-year degree in finance, economics, business, or a related field.
  • Have an expected graduation date between December 2026 and September 2027.
  • Maintain strong academic performance and be available full-time during the internship.
  • Demonstrate genuine interest in financial markets and global development.
  • Do not hold another internship or employment during the program.
