The Youth Ecopreneur Programme (YECO) 2025, powered by the International Trade Centre (ITC) in partnership with Ye! Community and the G20 Global Land Initiative/UNCCD, is now open for applications. This global initiative is designed to support young entrepreneurs (aged 15 to 35) leading sustainable businesses in developing countries through mentorship, visibility, and up to $100,000 in seed funding.
About the Programme
YECO 2025 is more than just a funding opportunity; it’s a platform for young changemakers creating solutions in two key sectors:
- Land Restoration (e.g., reforestation, soil rehabilitation)
- Green & Circular Economy (e.g., renewable energy, waste innovation)
The programme combines an intensive Bootcamp, an Accelerator, and a prestigious Awards Stage, with a newly introduced Fast Track Option for businesses ready to scale.
Who Can Apply?
To be eligible, your business must:
- Be legally registered in a developing country
- Be founded and led by youth under 35
- Operate in one of the two focus sectors
- Be able to provide a passport/ID, business certificate, and pitch deck
Additional encouragement is given to:
- Female entrepreneurs
- Founders from LDCs, SIDS, or landlocked countries
- Youth with disabilities and other marginalized groups

What’s New in 2025?
The Fast Track Option allows advanced startups to bypass the 10-week Bootcamp and proceed straight to the Accelerator phase. To qualify, your business must:
- Show market traction and consistent revenue generation
- Have a scalable model, a full-time team, and be investment-ready
- Submit a 2-minute motivational video during the application
If selected, you’ll participate in a short interview in the week of September 14th.
