Skales moved to Lagos in 2009 and signed a record deal with Empire Mates Entertainment (E.M.E), founded by Banky W. Under this label, he released popular songs like “Mukulu” and “Keresimesi”. He also featured on E.M.E’s group album and toured several cities in the US and UK with stars like Wizkid, Shaydee, and DJ Xclusive.

In 2014, after leaving E.M.E, he started his own record label called OHK Music. That same year, he released the hit song “Shake Body”, which became a massive success. His first album, “Man of the Year”, was released in 2015.

In 2025, “Shake Body” made a big comeback thanks to TikTok trends and a remix by Dutch DJ Onderkoffer.
