Since its launch in 2017, the Pollicy Fellowship has empowered Africa’s next generation of thinkers, designers, activists, and technologists. This year, the program features three bold fellowship tracks focused on real-world impact, creativity, and digital justice. Three Exciting Fellowship Tracks
1. Francophone Community Engagement Fellow
Focus: West and Central Africa (with preference for Côte d’Ivoire)
Support Pollicy’s feminist digital rights work by fostering community engagement in Francophone Africa.
Key responsibilities include:
- Hosting community events and feminist dialogues
- Creating zines, toolkits, and blogs in French
- Translating and localizing campaign content
- Helping shape the Francophone engagement strategy

Who should apply:
French/English bilinguals with grassroots organizing experience and a passion for community storytelling.
2. Grants & Growth Fellow
Join the Programs team to help grow Pollicy’s reach and partnerships through values-driven fundraising and collaboration.
Key responsibilities include:
- Identifying funding opportunities
- Drafting proposals and pitch decks
- Mapping potential partners
- Supporting donor communications
Ideal candidates:
Strong writers with a knack for strategy, fundraising, or communications and a commitment to equity.
3. Games Design Fellow
Use creativity to develop civic games that educate and inspire action.
Key responsibilities include:
- Prototyping card, web, or AR/VR games
- Designing user experiences
- Collaborating with artists and youth
- Contributing to the Afrofeminist Data Museum
You’re a fit if you:
Love playful design, use tools like Figma or Unity, and bring a decolonial perspective to storytelling.
What You’ll Gain

Fellowship Details
