The Henry Arnhold Fellowship 2026 is now accepting applications from visionary leaders driving environmental, climate, and conservation innovations. Powered by the Mulago Foundation, this one-year fellowship offers an unrestricted $100,000 grant awarded upfront to support impactful founders and CEOs focused on scalable environmental solutions.
The program is designed to empower high-potential entrepreneurs with a mission to create systemic environmental change. Fellows will participate in two immersive strategy retreats, receive personalized mentorship, and gain access to the Mulago network. The initiative fosters a strong focus on design for impact, strategy for scale, and real-world implementation.
What the Fellowship Offers:

Who Should Apply?
Eligible applicants must:
- Be the founder, CEO, or key decision-maker of their organization
- Work full-time (30+ hours per week) on the initiative
- Lead a legally registered nonprofit, mission-driven business, or fiscally sponsored project
- Present a solution with strong potential for large-scale environmental impact.
Both nonprofits and for-profits are welcome, especially those intertwining environmental health and community well-being.

Selection Focus:
The Fellowship seeks leaders with:

- A history of problem-solving and innovation

Past fellows have led transformative initiatives like Global Forest Watch, Planet Indonesia, Farmers for Forests, and Blue Ventures.
